Hi all,
Today I had the pleasure of being invited to Thurles, Co. Tipperary to meet with some of the students of 5th LCVP.
Thank you Shauna for visiting the Youth-connect website and availing of the BOOK A LESSON HERE balloon.
My impression travelling and meeting students around the country is that today's students are very busy with full time education and a large
proportion have part-time work. Where do you get the time for social networking? Speaking of social network do not forget to check out the great Meteor offer
available for all iConnect cardholders plus tons of other discounts, see www.studentcard.ie http://www.studentcard.ie or like iConnect Card on facebook http://www.facebook.com/iConnectCard to keep up-to-date.
The Ursuline Secondary School Thurles has a great student council ethos, students are involved in very important social policy in education. They are currently
looking at inclusion policy of the school and working with the staff and mangement to improve the education system for all, well done.
So, well done all, remember and stand up for your employment rights and right to education,
Thank you,
Ken (Youth Connect Champion)
